That is a quote by Earl J. Hickey, a character in the popular NBC
sit-com My Name is Earl. Funny show.
Here
is a short summary for those not familiar with the plot:
Earl is a scruffy,
petty crook who has messed up his life through poor choices. He wins a $100,000
lottery ticket and immediately loses it when he is hit by a car. He hears about
the concept of karma while watching the Carson Daly show from his hospital bed
and decides he wants to turn his life around. After a few good deeds, his $100,000
ticket comes back to him. He makes a list of all the people he has treated poorly
in the past and goes on a journey to make amends and repair his karma.
I
belive in karma. It is a simple concept, really. “What goes around, comes around.”
Or as Earl would say, “When you do good things, good things will happen to
you, do bad things and they'll come back and bite you in the (butt).”
My
business has grown quite a bit in the last year. I think part of this results
from a natural progression of what I set out to do with my business.
I really saw a turnaround, however, when I concentrated on a more spiritual approach
and worked on allowing success, money, work, customers, whatever - into my life.
Powerful intentions, law of attraction - being careful "what I put out there."
Thinking this way really takes a load off, so to speak.
It allows
me to focus on the best interest of my customers. The best interest of the client
is also in my best interest. It results in happy customers who are referring new
customers that are a better fit, and the circle continues.
Cool
stuff that karma.
